UC Forward UC Forward

UC Forward is an exciting new teaching and learning initiative — pairing students, faculty and external experts, each from differing perspectives, to create innovative and transformative answers to problems and uniquely develop tomorrow's workforce.

This initiative differentiates and positions both the university and our students as leaders in transforming the landscape of 21st century education and in creating social and economic value for our local, regional and global communities. University of Cincinnati is uniquely positioned to do this well and to be THE leader in the field.

Diversity PlanNew Diversity Plan

A task force of the President's Diversity Council completed the five-year Diversity Plan and presented the final document to President Gregory H. Williams, according to Council Chair Louis Bilionis. The plan was reviewed by the University's various governance organizations over the past year.

Moms Weekend 2012

UC MomsMark your calendars! The University of Cincinnati Parents Association's Moms Weekend is scheduled for February 10-12, 2012!

The weekend will begin with Friday's happy hour at the Bearcat Lounge in the Kingsgate Marriott. We invite our UC families to stay for a buffet dinner at Caminetto, located just next door, immediately following the reception.

Semester ConversionSemester Conversion

The University of Cincinnati, like other Ohio colleges and universities, is converting to semesters. UC will convert to semesters on August 27, 2012; however, there are steps students can and should be taking right now.

Communiversity at UC

Semester ConversionThrough Continuing Education at UC, opportunities for all ages and stages are offered, proving that learning need never end. One such program is Communiversity, which publishes a free seasonal catalog of their wide variety of personal enrichment and professional development classes.

More than 200 options are listed — some are online courses where learning is available anytime, anywhere at the participant's convenience. Others are face-to-face classes, typically offered evenings and weekends, at various locations all over town where people with similar interests come together.

UC e-mail is used to share information about the University, alumni events throughout the country, athletic events, special ticket opportunities, and other items of interest to our alumni and friends.
